Located in the northwestern Abitibi-Témiscamingue region, Skinoramik offers 40 km of cross-country ski trails, 20 km of snowshoe trails, and nearly 10 km of multipurpose trails for fatbike and winter walking. Plus, there’s a tubing hill for the little ones to enjoy.
The trail network winds through a forest composed mainly of aspen, birch, cedar, spruce and fir. The terrain is gently undulating. On foot or snowshoe, the Montée des Pionniers and Le Trappeur trails provide access to two lookouts with views of the region. For cross-country skiers, the Drien trail passes by the Grande-Ourse lookout, then offers a superb slope to the delight of skiers. And don’t miss a stop at the Shack à Pépère, where you can take a break, warm up and socialize.
