Évain cross-country ski trails

Located 3.5 km north of the village of Évain, the 14 trails comprise a total of almost 33 km of double-track on flat and hilly terrain. Most of the trails are designed for skating.

The vegetation is typical of the region, with aspen, jack pine and black spruce stands. There are 7 heated cabins on site, plus the main chalet for reception, equipment rental and ski waxing.

Snowshoeing and Fatbike

The trails are shared with these 2 activities. They run from the main chalet at Les Fourches to the chalet at Le Castor. If you’d like to rent a Fat bike, call to reserve; there are two available.

Access

From Rouyn-Noranda, take Route 117, Boulevard Évain to the village of Évain. Turn right onto rue Principale, then left and right onto avenue de L’Église. Drive north on this street for about 3.5 km. The cross-country ski club chalet is on the left and the parking lot on the right.
