Mont Harfang Trail – Groulx Mountains

Description

Located in Monts Groulx, this summer trail leads to the summit of Mont Harfang at an altitude of 960 metres. To complete the loop, return by road for a distance of about 3 km.

Important!

Effective immediately, the bridge over Athikash Creek on the North Harfang Trail is CLOSED (Km 352, route 389). Parts of the structure may be broken and pieces may fall off. There are no railings. Due to the obsolescence of the infrastructure, the bridge will remain closed until it has been fully inspected and secured. Please do not venture onto the bridge until it has been opened.

The trail is considered difficult. The trail has steep sections and muddy walking areas over long distances. Hikers should plan accordingly. An emergency communication system is recommended.
