Pic du Brûlé and Mont Ernest-Ménard trail

Description

The trail is located in Gaspésie National Park, not far from Mont Albert.
It begins at the Cascapédia reception area on Route 11, next to the superb Lac Cascapédia.
After a linear 2.2 km, at the intersection, the loop starts either by turning left towards Lac Gouache and Pic du Brûlé, or right towards Mont Ernest-Ménard.
Towards the latter you’ll have an intense climb of 1.2 km before reaching the wooded summit of Mont Ernest-Ménard, offering a fine view.
The trail continues through a valley and then climbs slightly to the Pic du Brûlé.
A ridge at an altitude of 790 metres, offering spectacular panoramic views.
You can see the Sainte-Anne River valley and, on a clear day, the St. Lawrence River in the distance.
