Mount Wright trails

Description

Hike the trails of Mount Wright in the municipality of Stoneham-et-Tewkesbury.
The route follows the Old Forest Trail, a 3.5 km loop through an old-growth forest of birch, maple, spruce and fir.
At the halfway point, a 2.2 km round trip on the Summit Trail climbs to the top of the mountain.
At an altitude of 483 metres, a lookout offers magnificent views of the town, the Hibou and Huron rivers, and Stoneham ski resort.
In winter, the trails can be explored on snowshoes.
