Soulanges bicycle path

Description

The bike path follows the Soulanges Canal for the first 23.5 km, from Pointe-des-Cascades to Les Coteaux. It then continues through the municipalities of Saint-Zotique and Rivière-Beaudette, for a total of 35 km of paved trail.

Along the trail, you’ll find numerous rest stops with bike repair facilities, sanitary facilities, furniture for relaxing and signposting to help you find your way.

Dogs on leash are welcome.

Access and parking

  • Pointe-des-Cascades: on Chemin du Fleuve (in front of the church or Parc Saint-Pierre) or on Highway 338 in front of Rue Claude.
  • Les Cèdres: chemin Saint-Antoine (south of intersection with route 338) and chemin Saint-Féréol (north of intersection with route 338)
  • Coteau-du-Lac: Paul Stevens Park (rue Saint-Emmanuel) and downtown (parking lot adjacent to 20 rue Principale)
  • Les Coteaux: a few parking spaces available near the Coteau-du-Lac / Les Coteaux intermunicipal pool
