La Vagabonde

Description

La Vagabonde is synonymous with a variety of landscapes and natural environments. At once urban and rural, its route takes you on a water-based journey through the Deux-Montagnes RCM, from east to west, from Saint-Eustache to Saint-Placide, passing through Deux-Montagnes, Sainte-Marthe-sur-le-Lac, Pointe-Calumet, Saint-Joseph-du-Lac, Oka National Park and the municipality of Oka. La Vagabonde follows the waters of the Rivière des Mille Îles to Lake of Two Mountains and the Ottawa River.

Located in the Lower Laurentians, the route totals 50 km, marked route verte #1 and divided into two sectors. The 30-km eastern sector between Saint-Eustache and Oka is for families. The 20-km western sector between Oka and Saint-Placide is at a sporty level and follows route 344.

La Vagabonde also offers an interesting option for accessing the Laval cycling network via the Grand-Moulin dam in Deux-Montagnes and the Arthur-Sauvé bridge in Saint-Eustache, as well as joining the Route verte to Argenteuil.

Note: Parking lots are indicated by markers on the map.
