New ready-to-camp tents at Sépaq

Due to the success of the ready-to-camp service with Huttopia tents available in Quebec’s national parks since 2008, Sépaq will be installing 44 new tents in ten different parks, including Hautes-Gorges-de-la-rivière-Malbaie, Mont-Orford, Yamaska, Mont-Tremblant and Oka.

Another big news is the turnkey camping service, which will also be offered in wildlife reserves and tourist centers from June 17. To this end, 40 new Hékipia tents (designed by the same French firm as Uttopia), each with a 4-person capacity, will be installed in the Papineau-Labelle, La Vérendrye, St-Maurice and Mastigouche wildlife reserves, in the Lac-Simon and Lac-Kénogami tourist centers, and at the Baie-de-Percé and Voltigeurs campgrounds.

Huttopia tents, or Hékipia tents, are popular with families because they require minimal equipment: sleeping bags, towels, soap and food. Everything else is supplied. This includes lighting, a space heater, furniture, a stove, a small refrigerator and so on.
