New Chute-aux-Rats trail Parc du Mont-Tremblant

New for winter 2011-2012, the Chutes-aux-Rats trail, located in the Pimbina sector of Parc du Mont-Tremblant (north of the town of Saint-Donat in Lanaudière), will now be accessible by snowshoe. The 9.4 km round trip (approx. 3 hours) starts at the welcome station, skirts the shores of Lac Lajoie and Lac Provost, and ends at Chutes-aux-Rats, a 17.4-metre waterfall that literally gushes out of the forest.

For those wishing to spend the night, the park offers the possibility of staying in one of its five yurts (sleeps 4), located near the shores of Lac Provost.
