For a number of years now, many of Quebec’s alpine ski resorts have been offering alpine touring, i.e. ascending the mountain on snowshoes or skis with sealskin, then descending on the slopes and/or off-piste. Each ski resort has its own rates, and you have to respect the resort’s hours and rules.
Here’s a list of some of the ski resorts offering alpine touring:
- Belle-Neige
- Bromont
- Center plein-air de Cap-Chat
- La Réserve
- Massif de Charlevoix
- Massif du Sud
- Mount Avalanche
- Mount Adstock
- Mont-Édouard
- Mount Gleason
- Mount Grand-Fonds
- Mount Green Lake
- Mount Miller
- Mount Olympia
