Camping Parc National de Plaisance

Family canoeing at Parc national de Plaisance

Plaisance, a name evocative of a gentle landscape dotted with bays, ponds and marshes. In spring, Plaisance is home to thousands of Canada geese. Then, in summer, it’s a paradise for ducks, herons, ospreys and dozens of other species. The gentle breeze of the Ottawa River ripples through the grasses of the Petite Presqu’île, not far from the campground. Parc national de Plaisance is over 28 km2 of protected area, with over 40 km of bike trails, over 6 km of hiking trails, 150 campsites, 3 yurts and 27 ready-to-camp sites.
