The lake
An exceptional lake surrounded by blueberries and home to trout, this land paradise is 5 hours from Montreal and about 2.5 hours from Quebec City by car.
Camping (with beach) and hostel (for celebrations) are available, as are many activities and services offered on site.
Walking tour
A 48.5-km network of trails winds along the lake’s southern shore.
It provides access to an observation tower, a suspension bridge and a gondola over the Pikauba River.
There are a number of peaks with panoramic views and several bodies of water in the heart of the forest.
The trail can be accessed from the municipality of Hébertville (route 169) to the west, or from Laterrière (route 175 south) to the west.
