The Sentier national Le Montagnard, which joins the Trans Canada Trail, starts in Lac-Beauport and runs to Sainte-Brigitte-de-Laval, for a total distance of 20 kilometers. Along the way, you’ll find Simmons Falls Park, the Austrian Valley and Lac Neigette.
From promontories perched on the mountains, you can admire the immensity of the Laurentian landscape, Quebec City and Île d’Orléans, as well as the Montmorency River, Lac Beauport and Simmons Falls.
Access to the Lac-Beauport trail is at the community center, and the Ste-Brigitte-de-Laval trail is at Richelieu Park on rue Goudreault.
