Mont Saint-Grégoire is one of nine Monteregian hills located near the city of Montreal in southwestern Quebec. The hill is best known for its many sugar shacks, including the Sous-Bois maple grove, located at the foot of the hill, where hundreds of Quebecers and tourists go every year to get their sweet tooth. It’s a wonderful place for hiking, as well as for our favorite activity…
The trails are managed by the Centre d’interprétation du milieu écologique du Haut-Richelieu (CIME Haut-Richelieu). This non-profit organization is dedicated to the conservation of Mont Saint-Grégoire and other natural sites in the region.
