Aux berges du Lac Castor is located in the heart of the Mauritian forest on the shores of Lac Castor. Don’t expect the 5 stars displayed at the reception desk, but rather the millions of stars hanging over your head. On site, you’ll discover a cozy inn, a rustic eight-person chalet, cozy cottages, unique huts, two Mongolian yurts, rustic campsites and a creative chalet.
Once you’ve settled in, you’ll be able to enjoy the great outdoors. A network of 16 hiking trails totals some 30 kilometers. The trails wind through century-old hemlock forests, peat bogs and many other ecosystems. You’ll see impressive beaver dams, a waterfall, cascades and views of the region, as well as several ponds and lakes dotting the area. On the lake, you have access to canoes, kayaks, pedal boats, rabaska, etc.
