This territory of 536 km2 exudes great serenity, inspired by its gentle topography. On this vast plateau of rolling hills, interspersed with valleys and dotted with a multitude of lakes, life flows to the rhythm of nature. Only the seasons disturb the passage of time, altering every detail of the landscape.
There are trails for mountain biking, gravelling, cross-country skiing, snowshoeing, hiking and portage. Discovery activities help visitors understand and appreciate the park’s natural and cultural resources. The Saint-Jean-des-Piles Visitor and Interpretation Centre features an interactive exhibition and a 3D slide show, and naturalists offer personalized activities.
You’ll have access to magnificent lakeside beaches, including Plage du lac Édouard, by far the most popular. Canoes, single kayaks, double kayaks and stand-up paddles (SUP) are available for hire.
Camping, canoe-camping and oTENTik tents will allow you to discover this vast territory of lakes and forests. Two heritage cottages dating back to the days of private hunting and fishing clubs provide lodging services.
