Kilkenny Regional Park

Kilkenny Regional Park - MONTCALM

Located in Saint-Calixte in the Montcalm MRC, Kilkenny Regional Park is a 13 km² natural area dedicated to conservation and the outdoors, officially inaugurated in June 2025. Developed on the site of a former stone quarry, this territory boasts impressive biodiversity, including nearly 100 animal species and over 200 plant species. The landscape is shaped by two lakes, a river and a rocky plateau, offering visitors a peaceful setting for contemplation and ecological education.

The park offers a variety of activities accessible throughout the seasons, including 13 km of trails for hiking, wildlife observation and the discovery of works of art integrated into nature. In winter, the site is transformed to welcome snowshoers, classic cross-country skiers and Nordic skiers. Facilities include a solar-heated reception pavilion, picnic areas and an outdoor fireplace. Although access to the park is free, parking fees apply to support the sustainable management of the site.
