Île-des-Moulins historic site

During the 18th and 19th centuries, Île-des-Moulins was at the heart of the development of one of the most important seigneuries in Quebec history. Today, the site still boasts five restored buildings, including the Maison Bélisle, the Seigneurial Office, the former Boulangerie and the flour, saw and carding mills. This museum complex covers the social, economic, industrial and cultural history of Terrebonne and the Moulins region from its earliest days to the present day. Permanent exhibits, events and several guided tours bring the site to life.
