The cave has 133 metres of galleries.
It is the first cave to be registered in the Quebec caving directory.
It is said to have been discovered in 1822 by young boys hunting wildcats (raccoons).

It’s located in the Lanaudière tourist region, about 3 km northwest of the Municipality of Crabtree.
It’s easily accessible from Route 158, via Chemin Archambault to the north.

Wear warm clothing.
Waterproof boots and clothing are a must, as water can accumulate on the cave floor.
