The circuit starts near the Lafortune bridge in the Saint-Gérard-Majella sector, and runs down the Rivière L’Assomption for 11 km to the Léo-Jacques park in L’Assomption. The course is in calm water, and despite its name, there are no portages. Boats, canoes, kayaks or paddleboards, flotation jackets and oars or paddles are available for hire. A shuttle service to the start of the tour is available for those with their own boats, and is included with the rental.
