Mount Lyall

Agatha mine at Mont-Lyall

350 million years ago, lava erupted from Mount Lyall.
As the minerals cooled, they crystallized and are found today in the form of volcanic rocks.
Come and collect these rocks yourself and stock up on fine stones (quartz, amethyst, chalcedony, carnelian) and therapeutic green clay (illite and kaolin).
Agates are abundant and beautifully colored.
