Ulverton wool mill

The only textile interpretation site in Canada, this mill was built around 1840, at the time of the massive arrival of Scottish weavers.
The mill was recognized as a historic monument in 1977.
It boasts a complete set of operational machinery dating from the early 20th century.
The Ulverton Woolen Mill offers guided tours explaining the evolution of wool processing methods.
There are five kilometers of magnificent trails.
You’ll follow the banks of the Ulverton River through mixed woodland, crossing the river several times on footbridges and suspension bridges.
You’ll pass through a flower garden and reach a belvedere overlooking the river and a waterfall.
There are bird feeders and sheep feeding pens lining the paths.
Brunch served every Sunday and a boutique specializing in wool products.
