Located in the tourist heartland of the Eastern Townships, between Mont-Orford Park and Lake Memphremagog, the Rivière-aux-Cerises Marsh is just a short stroll from downtown Magog. Here, over a 1.5 km² area, woodlands, marshes, swamps and peat bogs intertwine to create an impressive biodiversity.
Its network of trails is accessible year-round, free of charge. A portion of the stilt and forest trails is cleared of snow during the winter season. In addition, there’s a 2.8 km snowshoe trail, mostly looped. Birdwatching, wildlife watching, flora and fauna watching, and all the beautiful scenery in between. In summer, you can paddle with a naturalist guide to discover the Rivière aux Cerises marsh by water.
