Summer and winter alike, the 3 Monts de Coleraine Conservation Territory offers hikers some 20 km of trails through an astonishingly diverse landscape. The territory’s conservation objective is to preserve the integrity of land that was once under pressure from logging and mining companies. The three protected mountains are Mont Oak (460 m), Colline Kerr (494 m) and Mont du Caribou (558 m), whose bare, rocky summits are reminiscent of Mont Albert on the Gaspé Peninsula.
From Mont Oak, the view extends to Mont Mégantic and the Appalachian chain; from Mont du Caribou, it plunges down to the Thetford Mines open-pit mine; and from Colline Kerr, it embraces the entire territory. Trails from beginner to expert offer something for every taste and every type of hiker. Come and try out our 2 yurts or our chalet with family or friends.
