Located 30 minutes from Rimouski in the Appalachian mountain range, Parc du Mont-Comi will win you over with the quality of its natural snow. The ski area boasts 30 trails and a snow park, offering jumps and obstacles for all levels and types of skier. Powder lovers are spoiled for choice on the mountain’s north-facing slope, which offers snow in its wildest state.
The resort also offers 6.7 km of groomed cross-country ski trails for both classic and skate skiing, and nearly 20 km of snowshoeing trails.
For the summer season, the park offers canoe, kayak and pedal-boat rentals on the lake (reservations required), hiking, hebertism trails and downhill or cross-country mountain biking.
Mont-Comi Park provides access to the Chute Neigette / Mont-Comi trail, a section of the national trail that crosses Quebec and Canada. The trail starts near chairlift number 2 via the panoramic slope.
