Located in a marshy region of Abitibi, this lake is actually a widening of the Bell River.
It is 54 km long, up to 6 km wide in places, and covers an area of 122 km².
Its shape is irregular.
There are several bays, where you can fish for pike and yellow perch, as well as several islands.
In the larger northern sector, walleye fishing is excellent.
Lac Parent, like many other lakes in the region, offers magnificent beaches for swimming and other water sports.
