La Riveraine

Description

The Riveraine bike path is paved throughout and passes through Varennes, Boucherville, Longueuil, Saint-Lambert, Brossard, La Prairie, Candiac and Ville Sainte-Catherine.

The trail can be accessed from a number of points, including the estacade, the small bridge next to the Victoria Bridge, the Champlain and Jacques-Cartier bridges, and various trails on the South Shore, in Varennes or Longueuil, where you can park your car and drive over the 132.

Although close to the highway, the bike path offers a superb view of the river. It’s so beautiful that you forget the cars passing by.
