Built in 1830, Ryan Wharf has been restored as an environmental and educational recreational complex. A magnificent green space with a very large quay for a host of family and romantic activities.
Interpretation panels on the flora and fauna of the Richelieu River have been installed along the quay to help you discover the species, plants and birds that have been spotted in the municipality, much to our delight.
Then rent an electric surfboard from Ecosurf Canada. This activity is sure to become a Sabrevois staple! And for families, a free hebertism course awaits you for a good dose of adrenalin.
In the 19th century, the Richelieu River and its port infrastructure played a key role in the economic development not only of the Richelieu Valley region, but of the entire province. A vestige of an effervescent era, both historically and economically.
