Vallée Rocanigan offers 15 km of mountain snowshoe trails with magnificent views over the valley, and since 2010 3 km of trails for snow scooters. Nordic walking is also permitted. You’ll have access to a skating rink on the lake and a stopover in a heated yurt. Snowshoes, crampons and scooters for hire on site.
In summer and autumn, you can enjoy the trails and picnic area with barbecue. Wild mushroom-picking activities are organized with a mycologist guide.
It’s also an opportunity to discover the wide variety of trees, shrubs and plants found on the site. Fox, raccoon, beaver, otter, porcupine, partridge, hare and mink are common sightings. Many bird species are present, such as the urubu, blue jay, kingfisher, goose, merganser duck, black duck, pileated woodpecker, great horned owl, heron and others.
