Parc récréotouristique Héritage Carcajou

Aerial view of the reception pavilion, forest and water features of the Héritage Carcajou recreotouristic park.

Located about 30 minutes from Trois-Rivières near the village of St-Boniface, l’Héritage Carcajou lets you appreciate the tranquility and beauty of nature. Whether you’re planning a scout camp, a reunion, or just spending time with family and friends, you’ll be amazed by the beauty of this site.

The park has a network of trails covering some 15 kilometers. Popular with many walkers, the trails can be of short or long duration. You’ll be able to observe the flora and fauna, as well as several bodies of water and landscapes. Access to the trails is free. A hebertism track allows youngsters to put their physical skills to good use. The site provides access to the Petite Rivière Machiche, ideal for initiating beginners to canoeing and swimming.

In winter, the trails are accessible by snowshoe. A small 60-foot drop in elevation allows you to slide on snow. Bring your own downhill equipment.
