Lake Archambault

This 10 km-long lake offers magnificent scenery, with several peaks, including the 875-metre-high Montagne Noire.
You can fish for lake trout, rainbow trout, pike and bass.
Windsurfing, canoeing and kayaking are also available.
Launching is at Parc des Pionniers, 14 chemin Hector-Bilodeau, St-Donat.
A windsurfing park is also available.
On the west (opposite) shore, a second boat launch is accessible via chemin Régimbald and chemin des Épinettes to the lake.
A river to the north takes you up to Lac Pimbina (short portage to the small dam), then to Lac Provost and Lac Lajoie in Mont-Tremblant Park.
If you want to camp, you’ll have to take this route, as there are no campsites on Lac Archambault.
Motorboat traffic can make navigation more difficult.
Note that only residents are allowed to use motors over 9.9 HP, unless access is via the campsite (campsite receipt required).
