Located between Magog and Sherbrooke, five minutes from the picturesque village of North Hatley, the former Montjoye ski resort is undergoing a major transformation. Starting in 2011, Mont Hatley is once again welcoming visitors by offering lodging, first in a refuge, then in a mountain chalet. Parc du Mont Hatley now defines itself as a micro adventure and experience resort. The park benefits from the former ski resort facilities and offers many activities throughout the year. There’s hiking, trail running, mountain biking and the Base Bootcamp obstacle course.
In winter, two trails are available for alpine trekking, which involves skiing up the mountain in sealskin. Once at the summit, the old “Montjoye” ski runs and their numerous glades provide an exceptional playground for off-piste descents in powder snow.
