Boucle de la Hauteur trail

Description

In St-Raymond de Portneuf, starting from the Shannahan reception area, this trail is a mountain experience of pure delight that’s relatively accessible.
The ascent takes you along a magnificent creek lined with tall cedars, and leads to superb panoramic views of the mystical Cap des Sept-Côtes and the gently flowing river in the distance.
In winter, the trail is regularly traversed in boots or crampons, but for sections with more elevation gain or after a snowfall, snowshoes come in handy.
