The Rivière-des-Mille-Îles Park includes a set of natural, plans of water environments, Islands, swamps, and shorelines, hosted and managed by the Organization eco-Nature. It gives access to the river of the thousand islands. It is 42 Km long and rises to the West in the Lake of two mountains, then ends at the mouth of the St. Lawrence River and the rivière des Prairies to the East. She is recognized for its shoals which make a shallow river on three quarters of its area. It is one of the reasons for which were not met virtually not boater. Among 110 Islands in the River, some 20 are accessible from the Park, and a dozen of them have been designated ecological sanctuary by the Government of Quebec. Can there be observation of flora and fauna as well on foot and by canoe or kayak. Park account 8 km of hiking trails, including some located on islands, are accessible with a boat.
During the summer season, you will have access to the centre of interpretation. It includes games, posters, naturalized animals, aquariums and audiovisual equipment, and offers visitors of mini-expositions to familiarize with the ecosystems, the flora and fauna, and various phenomena in relation to the River.

Pêche: Achigan à petite bouche, brochet, barbotte, barbue, doré et perchaude.
Pêche blanche: perchaude et doré.
Sur l'eau: canot, kayak, pédalo, chaloupe. (Tous disponibles en location).
Croisière: sillonnez sur une quinzaine de kilomètres l'archipel de Sainte-Rose à bord du ponton Le héron bleu.
Marche: 9 sentiers de niveau débutant.
L'hiver: un circuit de 7,0 km est tracé pour le ski classique, la marche, la raquette et le traîneau (Observez bien la Chouette Rayée ou le Grand Pic!). Patinez sur la rivière entre la forêt de l'île Darling et le pittoresque village du Vieux Sainte-Rose. La patinoire champêtre s'étend sur plus d'un kilomètre.
